Terms of Service

1. The service

SellShot lets you upload product photos and get back edited images (background removal, marketplace-ready exports, scenes, effects, bulk processing) and quality reports. It is provided by SellShot, Kolkata, India (“we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and provide a real email address.
• Keep your password and API keys secret; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person or business per account. Credits are not transferable between accounts.

3. Credits, plans and payment

• Usage is metered in credits. The price list in the app shows what each operation costs (normally 1 credit = 1 HD image; previews and re-edits of the same cutout are free).
• One-time packs never expire. Monthly plans add credits every billing cycle; unused credits roll over while the plan is active, and are kept for 90 days after it ends.
• Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices are shown in INR (via Razorpay, incl. applicable GST) or USD (via Stripe). We may change prices with 30 days' notice; existing packs are unaffected.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos you upload and the images we produce for you. You give us only the permission needed to process them and return results. You confirm you have the right to use the photos you upload and that they don't infringe anyone's rights.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use SellShot to process unlawful, infringing or sexually explicit content involving minors, to create deceptive listings (e.g. images of products you don't sell), to overload the service, or to resell raw access to the API without our written agreement. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Marketplace results

Our Listing Quality Check estimates whether an image meets a marketplace's published image rules. Marketplaces change rules and apply human review; we cannot guarantee that any image will be accepted. You are responsible for the listings you publish.

7. API

API keys consume credits from your account and are subject to fair-use rate limits. Keep keys server-side. We may change the API with reasonable notice and will keep deprecated versions available for at least 60 days.

8. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without a guaranteed uptime. Support is by email at hello@sellshot.app, usually within one business day.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits, or marketplace actions such as listing removals or account suspensions.

10. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may close accounts that violate these terms. Unused paid credits on a closed account are handled under the Refund Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Kolkata have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits consumer rights that apply in your country.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll show the date above and notify you in the app for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
